MY WORK
Photography is my art form, the images that I make are not what I see through the lens of my camera.
My work continues to evolve, and I tend to produce bodies of work around a central theme or idea. These usually relate to personal experiences, places that I have visited or a creative urge to express a thought visually. I have been, for some time, interested in making works about the transience of human life. Often the images that come from this use nature as a metaphor.
Sometimes these works incubate, they lie dormant until I pick them up later and I make images with a fresh insight that I didn’t have when I first took the photographs. I frequently like to blur the borders between what a photograph looks like and other art forms. Photography is my art form, the images that I make are not what I see through the lens of my camera.
PORTFOLIO
The subject of my artwork is the transience of life. My images are about beauty, but it is beauty in a changing world where beauty is ephemeral and temporary.
My prints are available for purchase. If you like what you see then email me for more information.
